Something that no one can deny: Colorado has a lot to offer especially in terms of views and beauty. The mountains, lakes, and valleys that encompass this gorgeous state that I call home are endless. As a wedding photographer based out of Denver, I have an unending list of locations and hidden gems. Today, I am going to share with you seven of my personal favorite venues in Colorado that have the most breathtaking views.

1. PINEY RIVER RANCH NEAR VAIL, CO:
Piney River Ranch is open and accessible from June 21st through the last weekend in September and is one of Colorado’s prime wedding destinations. Beneath the Gore Range (one of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain vistas) they can accommodate up to 200 people in the wedding and event space. With two custom log pavilions, and a ceremony deck that boasts mountain views, it’s guaranteed to take your breath away.
2. THE LITTLE NELL IN ASPEN, CO
The Little Nell is nestled in the Rocky Mountains in Aspen and has a naturally stunning background of the Elk Mountain Range perfect for the most intimate or grand mountain weddings. The Little Nell can accommodate large weddings with up to 500 guests or provide an elegant and intimate experience for smaller weddings.
3. DELLA TERRA MOUNTAIN CHATEAU IN ESTES PARK, CO
At Della Terra, natural beauty and romantic design are brought together to create the perfect mountain venue. They host one wedding at a time and only one wedding a day to give a secluded and intimate feel. They also have two ceremony location options to chose from, on-site getting-ready areas, and honeymoon accommodations.
4. THE SURF HOTEL IN BUENA VISTA, CO:
Beyond breathtaking views and guest rooms, the Surf Hotel’s amenities and services provide a number of unique options for any wedding. From a ground-floor restaurant to a stunning outdoor courtyard and onsite ballroom, their spaces were designed to adapt to a wide range of events.
5.GORRONO RANCH & SAN SOPHIA OVERLOOK IN TELLURIDE, CO:
Gorrono is a mid-mountain ski lodge. During the summer months, Gorrono is accessed by a mountain road and is the perfect choice for any wedding. Gorrono has multiple outdoor decks—one that is typically used as the ceremony and reception site, with the Wilson Mountain Range as its backdrop. In addition to the main lodge, there are two smaller historic cabins that can be used as private bride & groom dressing rooms.
6. SPRUCE MOUNTAIN RANCH IN LARKSPUR, CO:
A perfect blend of rustic elegance, Spruce Mountain Ranch is a 450 acre premier mountain venue conveniently located just outside of Denver. The design and setting of the ranch makes Spruce Mountain a breathtaking backdrop for any wedding or event.
7. THE LANDING AT ESTES PARK, CO
Their event hall holds up to 120 guests and features an authentic barn wood bar, a catering kitchen, a deck overlooking the river, and panoramic windows that frame stunning views of Longs Peak and the sparkling river below.
