My approach, in three promises

2. Guidance that keeps things easy. Confident direction for portraits and flow, plus planning support so you’re not guessing.

3. An intentional experience from planning to delivery. Clear communication, a thoughtful photo plan, and a gallery that brings you back to how it felt

I have yet to find another photographer who remotely compares to Mari.

Her willingness to be vulnerable allows her to connect with couples. And her love for the world allows her to connect with the land."

Your elopement, designed around the experience

Your elopement does not have to be just a ceremony and a few portraits. I help you craft a day that feels like you, built around the experience you want to have in the Colorado mountains. I’m an expert location scouter and I plan with light, weather, privacy, and logistics in mind, so you can stay present and enjoy the adventure.

Examples of elopement experiences I help plan and photograph:

  • Hiking and alpine lakes

  • Off-roading to remote views

  • Skiing and snow days

  • Snowshoeing sessions

  • Camping, sunrise starts, and golden hour endings

Investment

Elopement photography is an investment, and I want you to feel confident before you inquire. These collections are starting points, then customized around your day and the experience you want in the Colorado Rockies.

Elopement collections begin at $4,325, and most couples invest $5,500–$8,500 depending on coverage length, locations, and experience design.

Total investment varies most with coverage length, hiking or off-roading logistics, additional locations, optional second photographer time, content creation coverage, and travel. Travel and lodging are estimated once we know your location and finalized after we confirm coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Look for someone who can do more than take pretty photos. A Colorado Rockies elopement needs thoughtful pacing, comfort with unpredictable weather and light, and a photographer who can guide you confidently without making the day feel staged. I photograph adventure elopements in the Colorado Rockies with editorial artistry and emotionally honest storytelling, and I help you build a plan that keeps you present while everything still looks incredible.

  • Yes. Outdoor elopements are all about timing, light, and travel between locations. I’ll help you build a simple photo plan that accounts for the season, terrain, and what matters most to you so the day feels unrushed. You’ll know exactly what we’re doing and when, without it feeling like a production.

  • Absolutely. A mountain elopement does not have to mean a hard hike or an all-day trek. Colorado has plenty of stunning locations with easy access, and we can plan something that fits your comfort level while still giving you a meaningful experience and a beautiful backdrop. The goal is an intentional day that feels like you, not a version of you.

  • Yes. Most couples tell me this, and it’s why my approach is guided, not staged. I’ll give you simple direction for where to stand, how to move, and what to focus on so your photos feel natural and connected. Then I step back so the real moments can happen.

  • I don’t send a copy and paste list. I help you choose a location based on your adventure level, the season, privacy, and the experience you want to have. I’m an expert location scouter, so once I understand your vision, I’ll recommend options and help you plan the flow around light, logistics, and weather.
